I've never taken money out of my bank account to date, and I know I have $6,000. When I go to the bank, what information do I need to know to take money out? I don't know my bank account number, but I know my social security and I have my drivers license. Will that work? EDIT - my moms name is on the account too

You dont need your bank account number. Your social security card and your drivers license should do. What you need varies from bank to bank but with your social security card and a state issued id that proves its you they should be able to give you the number and the money. My mom even got my account number one time for me without my permission.

You will need some form of picture ID. The bank can provide you with your account number.

If it's an account your mom has for you, you might not be allowed to access it.

I have taken out AND deposited money from my bank without a bank card. I just needed my driver's licence/valid photo ID.
