ok, well i got a speeding ticket and well it said i was going 78 in a 70mile zone. ok well the guy followed me 10 miles before he pulled me over. well my parents decided we're going to go to court over this, because what he did is pro-filling and its illegal, well when our attorney was trying to get info. the police station told the guy, now he wants to say he made a mistake and now saying i was going 78 in a 55 mile zone. can he do that?

IDK, but why were you speeding with a cop following you?

you can't prove pro-filing

I'd like to think not! Was it a mistake, though, or was the speed limit 70?

It depends on how things work around you really. The police around here have their own jurisdiction so they get away with just about anything they want.

Its not profiling if you were actually speeding. Oh, and who says he wasnt supposed to be going that way anyways? The only way this ticket is getting thrown out is if the officer fails to appear.

no i was speeding on the inter state and thats what the ticket said well i got off on another road i didn't know he was behind me cause he was in an un marked car and he didn't have his lights on that was inside his car. he waited until i was almost home to turn on his lights and pull me over. which was 10 miles from were he caught me speeding.

Either way, your not getting the ticket thrown out. And you were speeding, it doesnt matter where he pulled you over. They could have just as easily mailed the ticket to you.
