I went to boarding school and my then-roommate and I used to smoke all the time. No one ever even knocked on the door, LOL, so we never got caught. You've got to be pretty unintelligent (basically I'm saying you're stupid in a nice way) and didn't take enough time doing it the smart way if you actually get caught while doing it. It's easy. Or at least it is where I go. I'm not gonna be ignorant and generalize every single dorm there is, I don't know how others work or are regulated and kept patrolled or something like that. I really was an awkward position that my residents put me in, but at the same time they were being quite stupid. My rules tend to be "If I can't tell it's going on, neither can anyone else, but if you put me in the position of another RA walking down the hall and seeing you all breaking the rules then that makes me look bad." There are SO many other places to smoke, to put the entire dorm at risk of having to evacuate due to the fire alarm going off is just inconsiderate in my eyes. -- Posted by theleger at 9:37 pm on Sep. 16, 2008 honestly, be smart, and if you HAVE to do it in your room, a fan is a necessity and so is an open window and a wet towel, put the towel under the door jam, so it wont leak out, fan at the base of the door blowing towards the window, light some incents and spark your roll your own! however if your campus is drug free, and you get busted, expect a phone call and letter home, as well as a ticket for possession for paraphenlia and a controlled substance. and the cops will do it, and the ra's will call. dont do it in your car, or parking garage, camera's are everywhere. if your going to do it on campus, best way is joints, mayb blunt, roll it up in your room or car offcampus, and just spark it and walk around, even better is offcampus in the surrounding neighborhoods, just keep walking round till your done and always vary your patterns. on campus is asking for trouble. been there done that. just drive offcampus to a parking lot or a neighborhood, then come right back to campus, if thas the goal.
