i tried sending someone a link in the fashion of an HREF hyperlink, and it kept substituting the LW forums URL infront of the typed site address. Why does it do this? ex. What I typed(no extra space at the front or back): < a href="example.com">Click here! Result: < a href="www.golivewire.come/forums/example.com">Click here! Is this a function to fix a security issue I'm not aware of, or what?

I'm not sure, but you're better just using BBCode.

besides the fact that html doesn't work here, when you post a clickable link of any kind you MUST use http(colon)(slash)(slash) or else it defaults to the livewire domain you're using
