-- Posted by 2kewl4u2know at 1:56 pm on Aug. 22, 2008 ...but it makes you feel so gross!  Gah, I hate summer.  And since I'm on campus, you know, I'm walking around everywhere outside....I feel so gross. mmmm...popcorn smells good.   But anyway, I have to say, the only aspect of guys I am jealous of is that they have just about no reservations.  They can fit in anywhere, talk to anyone.  Girls always have walls around them and are defensive, including myself.  I realize there are exceptions to this, but most guys I meet don't hold back, and most girls I meet do....I just wish I was more outgoing, which I know I can be, because when I'm around certain people I am super my own personality, but around other people I'm super shy. Eeeek!  College is pretty cool so far, just got my books (all except one) and I start classes on Monday.  Oh, and lucky for me, two of my classes are in the most difficult building to navigate.  FUN!   -- Posted by 420mike at 1:59 pm on Aug. 22, 2008 What college are you going too?  We start monday as well... And i'm also not very good at meeting new people.  I think I just need to get drunk with them, and then I can get to know them.  It's just too awkward.  I suck at conversation. -- Posted by 2kewl4u2know at 2:02 pm on Aug. 22, 2008 Ball State in Indiana.  You?  I'm not horrible at conversations, it just takes me awhile to find a common ground one that we both have enough interest in to carry the conversation.  And also I'm really shy about saying stuff because I don't want the thinking "What the hell is wrong with this chick???" You know?
