So I just got my dorm room assignment and read through all the shit I should bring and shouldn't bring. But the thing that didn't come up was coffee makers.

I really want to have my personal coffee maker in my dorm for all-nighters and crappy mornings sake. It'd be nice to be able to have coffee whenever I want without having to spend $5 a cup at a shop. Do you think they would allow it? Are they allowed in your dorms?

(Whoohoo for college, btw :3)

Can't you figure it out based on the other things on the list?

Well there weren't any coffee-maker related things on the list, really. Unless an iron counts.

Well, what does it say about microwaves, food processors, and mini fridges? And hotplates?

Fridges and microwaves are allowed; given. Nothing about food processors or hotplates =/

If a microwave is allowed, you can have a coffee maker.

They make peculators for microwaves.

Or you can use a steeper thing and microwaved water.
