How do I convert a .BMP image to a .JPG or .GIF image? I want to finish the checklist but I can't upload the picture because it's a .BMP file. I used a scanner to get the image on my computer if that information helps at all.

Upload the .bmp image to imageshack then just use that image.

Is there a software to do that though? I would rather not make accounts on ImageShack or PhotoBucket when I will most likely only use it this once.

On MS Paint, Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro?

That is how i got the picture as it is but it's still a .BMP.

Below the naming type bar on the save as screen, there's a drop down menu. You can change the type to JPEG or whatever you desire. ;)

When you save as you can change it to jpeg.. there is a box that gives you options
It will say bmp but you have to scroll down and choose jpeg
