How come we can post which University we attend but not which High school we attend? Doesn't really make sense

Because most people in high schools are underage, as well as too localized.  Universities can be nation wide.  You can live in Alaska and attend the University Of Miami, but you can't attend a Miami high school in Alaska, so its more of a security risk.

I guess because there is 23000 at some colleges and then like 2000 at a high school. I dunno though.

There is a college where I live with 400 students. There is a high school with over 10,000 students.

well heres two scenarios:
a. 16 year old kid posts which high school he/she attends..it gets removed.
b. a 16 year old kid posts which college he/she attends..it doesn't get removed

-- Posted by MEnOC at 7:59 pm on Aug. 23, 2008

It is far less likely that a thirteen year old is attending a university full time than it is that a thirteen year old is attending a highschool full time.

It's also a lot less likely that a thirteen year old hangs around her university than it is her highschool.
