Game of the Week!

Prediction- Clemson by 6

Other Top Week 1 Games

 #18 Tennessee At UCLA

- Both teams feature newer QBs, although with the recent injurys that the bruins have sustained at that position, I see Tennessee having more success right out of the gate. Tennessee is the more talented team overall, but UCLA will be able to take plenty out of this game to help build up their season under their new head coach.

Tennessee by 10

 #20 Illinois At #6 Missouri

- In my opinion it will be tough for Illinois to improve upon the feel good story they had last season. Teams in the Big Ten will not be as willing to overlook Illinois this time. Their first test is a tough one as they face off against a still fairly deep Missouri team with the likes of Chase Daniels.
This will be a big opening game for the Tigers and I dont see them having much of a problem with the fighting Illies. Wont be as bad as what USC did in the Rose Bowl, but still...

Missouri by 14

Appalachian State At #7 LSU

- Could it happen again? Could Appy walk into the stadium of a BCS power and knock em right in the mouth just like they did Michigan a year ago?...Yes, it could happen...but it wont..at least not this year.

LSU by 24

#3 USC AT Virginia---- USC by 17
Washington At #21 Oregon--- Oregon by 6
Kentucky At Louisville---Louisville by 10

I'm curious to see how the Hawaii @ Florida game turns out. This could say how well Florida will compete against Georgia and how Hawaii will rebound after losing June Jones, Colt Brennan, Davonne Bess, etc.

I personally haven't taken much interest in the game. Hawaii lost so many key parts of their team from last year that I would be surprised if they could even compete for a league title again.

I think they'll be far less competitive than the past couple seasons but I think they'll turn out ok. Their defense is under the radar and supposedly stronger than ever so it's really up to the offense to get things going. They have capable WRs, QBs, and RB, but I doubt they'll come close to the production of their mentors.
