I've installed Linux and I'm not sure if it would work. When you go to install it will tell you that it' s not a mac and wont do anything. There is however a hacked version of osx that you can install on an INTEL based pc. The problem is there's not really any drivers. Don't expect any external video cards, sound cards, network cards etc. to work. If everything is onboard on your computer then it might work. But Apple says you can only put Mac on an Apple computer. It's in the Users Agreement when you buy an Apple or the Mac OS. So I advise you don't do it.
