I was in the suite style dorms(like 4 rooms share one bathroom and one living room). Each suite was one gender, but the floors were mixed. Most dorms were mixed. They had an all girl building and all guy building if you wanted that. They even had a floor for GLBT students if you felt more comfortable living in that setting. One of my friends ended up on the floor with most of the hockey team. First year I was in an all girls dorm, then sophomore year I was in an apartment, and now I'm in an all girls dorm again. (I'm a senior now, so its my 2nd year in this dorm) I like it, its honestly nicer because there are less fire drills because of idiots doing stupid things and no one steals my clothes from the dryers. -- Posted by TigressaLynnMae at 3:02 pm on Aug. 25, 2008 I live on campus, at my University, and I have one female roommate. It's a coed rooming system, but there's guys, in the room, across from me. Now, I know the older dorms have male floors, and female floors.
