While I would also probably rather have an eight of mids than a gram of headies I'm never in that situation--I've never encountered mids in Boulder and in NJ I was able to find good hook-ups for quality. I don't like smoking shitty pot, so I don't. I don't like paying too much for pot (and recently went so far as to conclude that I was ethically opposed to overpaying and thus supporting an exploitative and over-inflated drug market), so I don't. I also don't like not smoking pot. I get stoned extremely easy and only need one good hit off a bong or a couple joint hits. So a cheap bag of crap can last me awhile.
