Ok I'm thinking about getting a laptop for school
Which one should I get? Windows or Mac?

I'd say Windows, but then again I haven't had extensive use on a Mac

Mac.

I've used Mac OS 10, Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2000, and Windows 98.

No viruses, no bloatware, almost all the software you need comes with it, and if you're worried about conversion issues, it's not really a problem.

Plus, it's more stylish, and it inspires envy wherever you go. :D

OSX is pretty spiffy, guys. You can even buy a product which allows you to run windows programs natively. Secondly, OSX will allow you to run most Linux softwares, which there are a lot of (and they're amost always free).

I am a Linux geek myself, but I prefer OSX to Windows for sure. Most video games are Windows only - that's the biggest drawback. If you aren't planning on gaming, OSX is superior in almost every way.
