I'm so freaking frustrated lately! I've been looking for a new job and applying all over the place and I haven't gotten ANY callbacks. My first job I worked at sam's club and i was there for 9 months and i got fired. My second job was Infocision (calling for non-profit organizations
) and i quit there b.c it was either quit or be fired.

Anyways all of my bills are piling up and it's driving me crazy. I only have $6.00 left in my bank account. I've used all of my money to pay on my bills and it still isn't enough. I owe on 2 credit cards. the one i need $58 by the end of the month to avoid that account being closed. and at least $40 to avoid having my cell phone being shut off. I also have some unpaid medical bills from when I was in the hospital that I have to pay on. I don't have insurance so that doesn't cover it. I can't ask my parents for any help because they're suffering financially as well.

I really need a job. I can't take this stress anymore I just don't know what to do anymore.

getting fired really slams your resume

What do you live in?

Is selling the house an option?

Are you certain you cant live with your folks until you can find work or at someone else's house?

Dont panic, everything is going to turn out decent =]

You see at infocision you are calling people for non. profit organizations and you have to have a .80 performance rating and 23 phone hours by the end of your 4th week of training. if not they decide to give you a 5th week or not, if they decide not to give you a 5th week then you're fired. I was in my 4th week and found out they weren't going to give me a 5th week of training to bring up my productivity so i was basically forced to quit. i'd rather put down i quit on an application rather than saying I was terminated. that just looks horrible

Why don't you donate Plasma, I've heard you can get up to $350.00 a month (not much, but it will help out some.) I mean, in the meantime while you are looking for a job, do that. Also, have you been to like those temporary agencies? I have heard you can get good jobs that way.

I do live with my parents lOl. I'm only 19.

and yes I am well aware of being terminated really slams your resume. but i was fired for something that wasn't even my fault

the reason that they gave me for my termination was that a check that I had taken from a member came back non-sufficent funds for over $450 and i had done everything i was suppossed to do. match up the name on the check with the membership card and drivers liscence. we have NO WAY of telling at the registers if a check will bounce or not so it wasn't my fault at all. they just wanted to get rid of me.

What, do your parents charge you rent or something?

Why cant you just do without a phone, credit cards, and other nicethings if they pay the bills? If they demand money from you, just explain the situation to them and tell them how youll need time. Im sure theyll understand.

What you need to do is call cooperate office and report the manager that fired you, and explain to them what happened and that you believe you were fired over false pretensis etc.. explain to them what happened. Also, file for unemployment as well.

No i don't pay any rent. I don't use my credit cards anymore. I still owe on the one from Christmastime last year and my other one. i don't buy anything really unless i absolutely need it like hygiene products, or something like that. We don't have a house phone anymore since everyone in the family has a cell phone so that's the only way any places i apply at would be able to reach me by my cell phone number.

The very first thing you should (like right this minute) is file for unemployment.

Was the store that you were working at unionized? I don't know how long it has been since you were fired from there, but if they were union there should be a lot that you can do about it. Either way you should take a look at the stores employee policy with regards to termination. For a lot of big corporations, they need a history of employee misconduct in order to fire someone.

You should also start working on a resume, hopefully there is at least one manager from either/both jobs that liked you and would give you a decent recommendation. Figure out all the skills, and qualifications that you have acquired from both jobs, I'm sure there are TONS of skills and qualities that you have even though you may not readily know it.
