I find that if i see something or watch a horror movie that in my sub concious I might carry it over into dream land. It is just something that is stuck in the back of your head that you might personalize. Sometimes if you have fear in your waking life, or if you have ever been beatten up you might recall it in your dreams. It is a normal thing to have weird dreams. Alot of people who have vivd creative thought processes in real life will conjure up vivid creative dreams. You might be able to control it a little bit by thinking of posative happy things before you go to sleep.
