Okay, so I want to get the Sims 2 for my macbook.  It's the 13" inch white one, if you know the system off that.  Otherwise all I know is:

- version 10.5.4
- 2.4 GHz intel core 2 duo processor
- 2 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM

Anyway, would just the basic sims (I don't intend on doing expansion packs, unless it I get like the delux pack) run smoothly on this macbook?

Also, I read something about windows boot camp?  What is that?  Would it hurt my system if I got it (because the main purpose of this computer is for schoolwork, so I don't want to mess anything up)? Can I run Sims 2 fine without this?

Answers to any of my questions would be much appreciated, thank you.

sims 2 for  mac os x is converted by something called aspyre, and it works fine. mind you, add-ons that you can buy or get free from the EA website and formatted ONLY for windows. found that out too late. almost all the expansion packs are available for mac, but only 1 or 2 of the fun stuff packs are.

Macbooks will not work with it, they have no graphics card. Macbook Pros would.
