I mean, you see it at the store, and you think "Eh, sounds interesting enough maybe it'll help pass the time when i have nothing else to read."
But then, you end up leaving it there, to rot and fill up space but serve no other purpose in life...

I just want to get rid of this book.
I know for a fact that i'll never actually read it...
But none of my friends want it either.

I took it to my local library, and they said something about, i dont know they only take in a certain quality of books? They don't accept new one's or something?
I dont know, i think this book is just meant* to be isolated.

I order tons from amazon.
I only read like 50% out of the ones i order. The rest stay there. But whatever, i will read the unread books sooner or later.

Lmao!
That's what happens with me when i go to bookstores!
I seriously just go through every aisle and judge each book by it's cover...

I know what you mean.
I must have at least 50 books in my room that I brought but never read.
I have no way of getting rid of them either.

You could try annotating and analyzing the book. That makes any book better for me.

See, what I do before purchasing a book is to read a couple paragraphs, maybe even a chapter, right there in the store. If I enjoy it I'll buy it, if not, well, no money wasted.

By the way, I enjoyed Magic Mountain. Very descriptive and the plot was superb.

I tend to do that when im just browsing, but sometimes i get such a rush from buying books that i start thinking like a wild child.
"I WANT THIS AND THIS AND OH NICE COVER THIS TOO!"

Oh and i've noticed that a lot of people on this site enjoyed the book.
Someone should whisk it off my bookshelf.
