Why would you NEED 3000 calories a day?
I would cut it too 300-500 as my limit.

2000 - 2500 for guys that dont exercise. i exercise a lot, believe me. swimming and everything. 3000 is a normal ammount for me. but somehow i cant handle it.. help.. ?

I'd eat around 1400 a day, see how that goes.

It doesn't make me "ill". Just very low on energy. That's why I take caffeine pills while dieting. Works for me.

If you're very active, try cutting your calorie intake to 2000 a day.

But were you eating 3000 calories a day, then suddenly went to 300? If you gradually did it, possibly, but it's not suggested whatsoever. Just going from one large amount to a very small amount. It's not healthy.
