-- Posted by Neugen at 8:25 pm on Aug. 30, 2008 As a society, we in the USA have become way too sensitive to racism.  I don't know if it's the white victim complex(where we have to feel bad about things white people did 200 years ago) or what, but someone says something about a black person or a hispanic person and it's racist.  However, reverse the rolls and have a black person say something about a white person, and the situation is totally different. People say that lots of things are 'racist', but most of the time, they simply mean that they mention or refer to race. For example, saying 'Sally is black, tall and thin' is not racist, but many people say that is because it mentions her race. It's ridiculous, and political correctness will only continue to get worse as people have to be more and more careful to avoid being labelled as 'racist'.
