An autumn leaf heads towards the pavement as he continued down the one-way street. He'll look back someday Four steps down the side of the road he looks back I said 'she's pretty isn't she?' And he silenced the street. He didn't know I knew. Another leaf floats in the air and gently touches down 'I love you' he finally dared to speak. Liar. Recklessness is something not permitted on a road Through my throat I can feel bricks Like those on the side. 'Sure' I said. Finally I walk towards the fallen leaves on the other side of the road. One-way remember, no going back.
