Every other colour such as red, green, brown, yellow, auburn, teal, etc, all have wavelengths of light that correspond to the energies (E=hv) they emit. However magenta doesn't appear on the spectrum. I'll save the explanation, because you can read that in the article, but this is quite weird, no? I don't see where this comes from. Magenta isn't even on the electromagnetic spectrum, and as such it doesn't have a wavelength, so it cannot have a frequency, so your argument is invalid.
