I basically rely on one lung and have a heart problem so I get really short of breath and such if i walk to fast or for too long, ie up stairs

There's no shame in using the lift, I use it every day, being in a wheelchair. The one at my school requires a key, so random people can't go up and down for fun.

same at my school. You gotta get a key to go up or down. But someone broke the key one time, and they never bothered to fix it, so now the lift is full access all the time and stupid freshmen ride it for fun during their free time.
