If terrorist material weren't censored, it could be argued both that it would be easier for the terrorists to get information safely and to find recruits in the gullible, malleable public. Both sides are available.  If you want to read about the enemies' point of view, that information is freely available on the Internet.  Al-Jazeera very willingly runs PR pieces made by al-Qaeda.   This proposition is analogous to saying that we should have ran German-produced agitprop pieces such as "The Triumph of the Will" on American media during World War II.  Most usually in life, one side of the story is the most truthful side. -- Posted by Myfairstar at 7:15 am on Sep. 4, 2008 Yes Al Queda is overly shown but what about the Hamas? No.  There are many extremist terrorist groups in the world.  There's no reason to give them free publicity, especially if we are fighting them, and doubly especially if they are killing civilians and American soldiers overseas.
