During the weekdays I get about 5 hours max and weekends about 7 hours max, so all in all that's about 39 hours of sleep a week, sometimes a lot less..is there an average amount of sleep you're supposed to get per week?

You're supposed to get anywhere near 7-10 hours a night, equating to 49-70 hours a week. I get anywhere from 6 to 10 a night.

I work nights and have a baby so I usually get about 2 or 3 hours of sleep a day, my husband about 4, and on the weekends i get about 10 hours of sleep

You shouldn't really average it out over a week, cos sleeping in until noon one day but then staying up all night the next don't even each other out. You should get about 7/8 hours a night and try to keep the times you go to sleep/get up consistent.

Each person is supposed to get from 8-10 hours of sleep a night, however it's different for everybody. Some people, like me, feel best rested on 11-12 hours of sleep.

Supposedly 56/hrs a week. I go anywhere from 30/week to 50/week.

usually when im not sick I sleep bout 5 hrs a night but I been sick the past week and sleeping about 15 hrs + per night

We're reccomended to get 8 hours a night, but studies have shown that you can get as little as 4 hours per night without any serious side effects. However, go too low and there's a risk of permanent damage. In total, it's up to the individual, but don't push yourself too far.
