We also know that people who do it never are in the right mind, because random people and incompetent hacks with bullshit degrees say so. I know assisted suicide is illegal.. But you can't arrest someone who's dead, right ? Or then again, people get saved from suicide. I highly doubt the trauma of jail will make them feel any better. It's a very personal thing and it affects many people, but there are so many different situations and predicaments in the world, that we can't throw them all into one big bin. Who are they to decide this person should live? People who commit suicide though have mental/emotional problems and without help there's nothing you can do about it. What are they going to do put them in jail for trying to kill themselves? Thats not going to help anything. Instead they will get you the help you need. If that means checking you into a pychiatric hospital.
