Lets say that one day you woke up in a room with nothing but a black button, and a man. The man tells you he will give you $10,000,000 to push it. Catch is, if you push it, someone, somewhere will die. You try to leave but the door is locked, but the man has the key and will give it to you, but you leave with nothing. Do you push it?

Naa, won't push it
-- Posted by matto at 7:39 pm on Sep. 4, 2008

someone somewhere always dies
-- Posted by Skip at 7:40 pm on Sep. 4, 2008
thats a good question i would have to know who the person was (not their name or anything physical like that) to decide it truthfully but generally id say it was wrong even though i may or may not do it depending on circumstances in my life

-pushes and the man dies-

Walk away penniless, they might be able to trace the killing.
-- Posted by Ouran at 7:40 pm on Sep. 4, 2008
Push it and hope the motherfucker who put you in the room is the one that dies.
-- Posted by Nimzo at 7:40 pm on Sep. 4, 2008
This has already been done...

pushes it

3 people die per second. It is natural. The world is overpopulated anyway...

I wouldn't press it. A life is worth more then any amount of money. I mean what is money, after all, but paper? It will go out of value in time. But this is a real person, real as you, with real aspirations and real goals and real thoughts. How can you kill somebody for the money?
-- Posted by TBMP at 7:41 pm on Sep. 4, 2008
uh id leave cuz id rather get out of the room then kill someone and be stuck with hella money in a room that i couldnt get out of
-- Posted by FuckUnikka at 7:41 pm on Sep. 4, 2008

Easily. A person's life is worth nothing to me. What are we here to do? Reproduce and die.
-- Posted by HXC at 7:42 pm on Sep. 4, 2008
I'd do it easy.
-- Posted by JAJABOB92 at 7:43 pm on Sep. 4, 2008

I've nothing to lose by not pushing it. *shrug* There are better ways to get $10,000. Like having a job.

I'd be worried that the guy was a jerk and the person that would die would be someone I actually cared about. So I wouldn't push it.

Lets say they die in an accident. Kinda like Death Note if you ever seen it

-- Posted by matto at 7:48 pm on Sep. 4, 2008
more seriously: I'd press it. Imagine how many lives could be saved, or how many significant things could be done with that amount of money. It's worth one life if it ends up doing something good.
