I live on the seventh floor, and BOTH elevators were out this morning....it wasn't too bad because going downstairs isn't too much of a hassle, it's going upstairs (which I'll have to do later eventually to get to my room) that I absolutely hate.

this sucks a duck is what it does.

maybe by the time you have to go home the elevators will be fixed.

Remind me to never ask you for sympathy ever >.>

...and besides, I still had the whole basically mile to walk to get to my class (which I walked to, despite there is a bus optional for transportation    so back off)

At least y'all HAVE elevators. Despite the ADA ruling, we're on the third floor, and the building some how got away without having elevators.

Our elevators only go to the first and sixth floors in our eight-floor complex (except the service one, which is not for student use and only open to public on move-in/out days, goes to all 8 floors), so I have to go down a stair anyway to get to the elevator.

We don't even have a service elevator, for move in days.

Anyway, according to the ADA, the elevator has to stop at all floors, and if it's a floor, above two levels, there has to be an elevator. Great way for both of our systems to go against ADA ruling!

I like going up and down stairs, because it's the only time I get any exercise. With college, I walk across campus and all my classes are on the third floors of buildings, so I get my workout for the day. lol
