I mean it's like half of them don't realize it's anything BUT unique. Like 90% of them will wear gallons of eye makeup(black eyeliner in particular) have choppy chin/shoulder-length straightened hair, often died obnoxious shades of black/red/platinum blonde/pink/purple/etc. and most of them will wear EITHER constant "funky" bright colours or ONLY black.. kind of the emo/scene/goth etc. look.. Well I'll admit I have some friends with that look  and I kind of like the look, but jesus it just makes you look like EVERYONE ELSE. I've notcied this a while ago. I used to be like that, back when everyone was dressing all preppy. Then, when this whoe "unique" idea swept through everyone's minds everyone looked like everyone else and I realized I was no longer unique. They're not trying to be unquie theres a reason they look the same. It's a certine style. I'm assuming your talking about the scene style thats been around forever. If anything they're trying to be unquie from the "mainstream" aka those hollister shirts and plaid shorts. It's not obnoxious its how they want to look. I am one of those people who dyes their hair bright colours or wear bright clothes, and then sometimes black. But only when my mood changes. Plus I wear what I like.
