Does the Wii console allow you to play DVDs in it? I'm still back in the early noughties with my PS2, for which any 'new' games are pants. I want a console that offers group fun, EASSSYY (and cheap) online gaming capabilities, good games and good graphics. I'm looking at the Wii and the xbox 360: Which do you suggest? Or something else?? Thanks! x

Well group fun the wii always wins the wii online is not brilliant but it is cheap and revetaly easy too hook up. BUT the friend codes are a pain. good games? depends on what YOU want look at the games http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Wii_games http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Xbox_360_games http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_PlayStation_3_games good graphics? PS2, it still has a better catalog of games then the Wii, 360, and PS3 put together. Seriously. DS also has a great library.

If you're stuck between the 360 and Wii, get the 360. You won't be disappointed.

It depends WHAT YOU AS A PERSON wants not what you want that person to have. OP look into the games then decide don't just go for one games console

I dunno, there's still quite a few brilliant releases for the PS2. Odin Sphere, for example. Personally, I'd go for the PS3. Not for the really commercial games though, I rarely play them. The PSN games are awesome :D also Wipeout is gonna be megapwn when it comes out... hopefully this year...
