The past few days my stomach has been upset. I lost my appetite and then I felt like I was going to vomit. I also have sharp pains in my stomach. Then I got the diarrhea. I can actually here my stomach gurgling and feel liquid churning inside of it. I was eating soups when this first happened, then I switched to plain solid foods since it felt like there was so much excess liquid. I took Mylanta when this first started and it didn't seem to help. I now switched to Imodium. I'm drinking water since it says to drink water on the Imodium box to prevent dehydration. I'm also avoiding excess sugar since I heard that can make diarrhea worse. What should I do? This seems like its been prolonged and that I should have been getting over this. Might it be food poisoning? Against my better judgement I ate an omelet at the school's caf and shortly after this (several hours) my stomach started to hurt. Any suggestions? I want to see if these passes over before I run to the doctor's office. Also because I hate them...haha. And no I'm not pregnant--just thought I'd add that.

I figure a doctor would be better qualified...but since you asked me...I think you have bronchitis.
