Get it off the table or something so it can cool down...I suggest turning it off as well.

my laptop always overheats. i just put in on a table instead of my lap and keep using it and it cools down ok

Just let it cool off. My old one did that a lot before. Try taking it apart to clean out the dust with one of those pressurized air things.

Get a cooling pad if it is consistent. DO not leave it on soft insulating surfaces. Mine is fine with it though, I love Atom processors and not causing lots of heat.
