If you want to lose weight there are many things you can do, one thing not to do is look for a magical solution.

Instead, do this.

- Get a membership at your local gym, preferably a 24 Fitness if you have one in your area. If not, try to find one that has a lot of cardio machines, especially a rowing machine.

- Go to the gym six days a week. This may be difficult for you, because you might find it humiliating. In reality, there is nothing to be ashamed of about going to the gym to better yourself regardless of the state you're in now.

- Work the cardio machines. Work your way up to an hour or more of straight cardio. At your weight you should avoid impact cardio like the treadmill, instead, utilize the machines they have like the bycicle machines and the step machines and the ROW MACHINE. If you use the Rowing machine correctly and intensely, and in combination with the other machines, you'll lose a lot of weight. Remember, if you switch from one machine to the next that doesn't mean take a break, it means scuttle over to the next cardio machine and immediately begin exercising.

- Control your caloric intake. Get yourself down to a 1,500 Calorie diet, if you feel comfortable, get yourself down to a 1,250 calorie a day diet.

With discipline, and following what I said to the letter, you will definitely lose weight in a healthy and relatively fast fashion. Do not expect to lose 100 lbs in an extremely short period of time, you don't want to anyway because you'll have stretch marks if you do. You might either way, but regardless you'll feel better about yourself as you start losing weight.

By the way, you should also do calisthenics exercises after the gym and do exercises like crunches and flutter kicks because while you won't lose much weight from them, you WILL lose inches off the diameter of your stomach.
