I did it once. It did relieve a lot of pressure, but it just didn't feel all that great. Plus the scars are ugly.

I cut and I have Bi-Polar. I don't take any meds. I can't help it. Argue if you want. You have no real idea.

Cutting is badd.. not only does it ruin your skin, it ruins relationships with other people, and hurts you emotionally...
-- Posted by confused cookie at 3:43 am on Sep. 13, 2008
It's not a good thing. I don't think anyone says that... but some people can't help it, you don't know thier situation, don't judge.

Emo's ruined the sincerity cutting. No one takes it seriously these days. I tried it once in my own little angsty teenage phase - it did nothing for me, looked ugly and I laughed at myself later for being such a little emo kid. Although I admit some people do it because that is the only way they can cope, despite all modern day associations. For them I sympathise with. It is not good, I don't believe anyone condones it. Those who do it may defend it as it is the only thing they can do. Try not to judge, we really don't know all the depths behind peoples personal coping mechanisms.

i dont think anyoone sees it as good thing. I used to cut, i admitted straight off i should never have started. It just becomes an addiction to pain relief (mentally and physically) and as with any addiction itds harder to stop than it is to start. Even if you admit you have a problem, it cant always be stopped straight off, dont judge...
