We are just friends. I met him through a mutual friend who introduced us while he was drunk. We pretty much hit it off right away. Stayed up until 1am, just talking. Practically every day after we would talk, draw things for each other and joke around.

Then he asked me to hang out some day, but I dodged the question and changed the topic. I was simply not too sure about this... He is a year older than I am, he is in the same faculty at the university as I am, he's really popular, really good looking, active in school stuff, smart as hell, BUT I felt that maybe he was too popular for me (I'm kinda shy...) plus I didn't know him for that long yet. So he continued the conversation as normal.

The next day (or next time we talked) he said I reminded him of a comic character and ended up calling me "cutie" when we were saying bye-byes. Couple more times he acted that way and then we didn't talk for some time. Next time we talked he said he missed me and everything was like before again (foolish behavior, basically). Then a little break, again.

Then... it all changed. The foolishness disappeared and the conversations became dry and kinda formal.

Then it was my birthday, but he forgot. Then it was his, and that's when he remembered it was mine like a week before. Said he was terribly sorry...

Then he started hanging out with this girl. Now they're kinda going out. I just realized I am horribly stupid for letting go of this. I really like him. I had a chance, didn't I? :(((

What to do now? Move on? It's hard.

Does no one read this forum? No support leader who would reply?...
