1995 Jeep Wrangler.  5 speed Manual, 4x4,  72k miles.

4 inch lift, 33 inch BFG Mud Terrain tires.

Went and saw it today, looks pretty good.  Not perfect, but no shit bucket.  Put a $500 deposit on it.  Getting it for $6700.

Now I just need to learn how to drive a manual transmission

BTW, the brush guard doesn't look as bad in person

-- Posted by YeahBoii at 1:03 pm on Sep. 20, 2008

Wow.  That looks like it was really taken care of.  Very bad ass.

Nice!
I have a 2002 Jeep Wrangler 4x4. Bright red. Mine is an automatic though.
40k miles. Lifts and the whole shebang.
It was my birthday/christmas gift for the next ten years.

We should make you learning manual more interesting.  You should video tape your learning experience and every time you drop the clutch you give me $5.

-- Posted by ss454 at 1:32 pm on Sep. 20, 2008

What I should do is get a rental car with a manual trans (probably don't even have those) and learn with that so I don't fry the clutch.

You are too young to get a rental car.

-- Posted by ss454 at 1:41 pm on Sep. 20, 2008

My dad would have to rent it.  He's the one teaching me to drive manual.

-- Posted by espresso8097 at 1:45 pm on Sep. 20, 2008

Just don't crash into anything, rental companies don't allow you to operate the vehicle.

-- Posted by ss454 at 1:58 pm on Sep. 20, 2008

If I crash in an empty parking lot, I should die in a fire.

Cool car, but I hope you can afford the gas for a 4.0 liter

-- Posted by ss454 at 4:14 pm on Sep. 20, 2008

It's the 4 cylinder.

Looks good for a jeep, never been a big fan of them personally.

Manuals are easy to learn. Goto a parking lot and have fun, you'll get the hang of it.

-- Posted by MrRight at 5:25 pm on Sep. 20, 2008

Pretty much, you will basically get the hang of it just driving home.

Nice, I just don't like that it is red.  Ha.  As of my last car, I am done with red cars/trucks/vans/suvs.  If you aren't getting speeding tickets you are getting hit by either bambi or stupid blonds.  It's true.

Really good deal.  I'm surprised it has pretty low mileage on it.  Nice find!  Hope it lasts you for a while!

Oh and if I can drive a manual, you definitely can.  It's not that hard.  You just need to know when to shift.  I went in some rich neighborhood and learned there. Lol.  No one could see me on the parking lot and laugh.  I didn't stall.  And my dad let me drive from there back home... I'm like on a real road?! With others?!?!?  Uhhh... SURE!  Made it home! :-D  I was even shifting when he was about to say shift. Lol. Or change gear or whatever.

I think it would look horrible in any other color.

I'm just worried about like fucking something up, but I probably won't.

Kind of reminds me of a shit I took once when I had the flu.

Hope you plan on fixing it up.

Nice Jeep...

Do you actually have a need for all that off-road shit though?

Besides the front bumper with the faded paint, nothing needs "fixed up".

Good try at trolling though.

I'll take it out as soon as I find a place where you can legally go off-road

Half the fun is going off-road where it is not legal

Just want an explanation to why it's so shitty.

-- Posted by An Hero at 9:28 am on Oct. 5, 2008

1. I can already see rust
2. You don't have a hard top
3. Since no hard top you'll have hella road noise.
4. The tires will just add to the noise
5. Your gas mileage is going to suck
6. Horrible gas mileage and almost no highway power especially with those tires.

-- Posted by ss454 at 10:13 am on Oct. 5, 2008

1. Get your eyes checked.
2. Who cares
3. Oh well
4. At least they look good
5. Good enough for me
6. When I knew it had a 120hp 4 cylinder, I knew it wouldn't be that fast...

In conclusion I was right about 1-6.

Don't see how that makes it a piece of shit, but as long as you're enjoying trolling, that's all that matters.
