i THINK i would right? i mean...i have though it over for a long time and i've been bapitised and i DO believe, its just that i hate myself VERY much, and i don't think i have the guts to handle life anymore. All the answers lead to more questions, all the treatments lead to medication for the side effects, friends, out of nowhere, say harsh things, even thought you're always the nice guy. I think i'm a lost cause, and i just want to know if i'll go to hell, i never killed anyone, well except myself...soon, in the future, maybe.

Well, first off, it is a mortal sin to kill yourself I believe, and I have been told that you will go to hell if you do. If you really are feeling suicidal, then call a suicide hotline immediately!

Suicide is viewed as a mortal sin punishable by Hell in Catholicism and Christianity. As far as wanting to kill yourself goes, none of us are trained professionals in dealing with such issues, but I have to ask, is it really worth it to end your own life over things such as friends being mean or a guy? If your friends are being harsh, then maybe you need new friends. Evaluate what they say to you and ask yourself if these people are really your friends. Or talk to them about how they sometimes say things that are hurtful. If they respond by saying they didn't realize they're hurting you, than maybe they're worth keeping. Just talk to them, let them know you're hurting. I don't really know how I can advise you further, but I wish you luck for the future. All I can say is that whenever you feel you have suicidal urger. The number for the National Suicide Hotline is at the top of your post for whenever you need it.

Well I'm going to put on my Christian hat since you came out with it first. Yes. You will go to hell because in the eyes of God not only is it murder, but you are destroying his body that he gave to you. In the church and God's eyes, for you to kill yourself is both selfish and vain and you are breaking at LEAST 5 commandments. As a Christian, If you feel this way your options are to Pray, go to church and have the members lay hands on you, Tithe, and pray some more. Now I'm taking the Christian at off, Honestly dude, if you are feeling that way about yourself you need to talk to someone so that you can find out why you feel this way. I understand why the bible says you are being selfish if you kill yourself, because you aren't thinking about your family, your friend, people who care about you. You don't love or care about them enough to want to get better. And I get that, I can understand why it says that. What is it that you have questions about, what is so horrible in your life that you would want to go to this extreme? If you find the answers to THOSE questions, you can begin to change things so that you aren't in such a horrible state. If you need to talk PM me, If you have God questions, you can PM me as well.

Here is my personal theological answer for your situation coupled with scriptural adherence and years of formal experience and education both in exegesis and hermeneutics. Not that I condone the action of suicide, I am certainly not condemning the action by comparing it to unpardonable offenses. Anyone who says that it is honestly isn't being true to scripture besides personal acceptance and adherence to extra-Biblical pressures. No, suicide is not an action where one is automatically condemned to Hell neither directly or indirectly apart from extra-Biblical sources.
