Last night it took me ages to get to sleep, because there were lots of parties going on in the halls, then when they finished and I was just about to get to sleep, I heard someone having an argument outside. Being on the ground floor, my flat mates and I hear everything. I blame this on the fact that I couldn't get myself up this morning. By the time I got ready and everything, I had half an hour to get to uni (which is how long it takes me normally). Anyway, I forgot about making sure I had extra time to get to the campus I needed to be at. All the campuses are on a hill, and so I started by walking up it, but then I couldn't seem to find it, so walked back down. Someone told me it was right at the very top (this is on a very long road!). I was feeling really overheated by this point, and I figured I'd just look stupid if I got there late. People usually stare when you are. Most of them were getting driven there, so they wouldn't understand! So I sent my lecturer an e-mail saying I had a temperature (which was actually true!), and a sore throat (which was also the case), and she seems cool about it. I guess it couldn't have been that important, because when I asked about whether I needed to see her about collecting anything, she didn't mention anything in the e-mail. This is my second day of uni, and a bad one! Ah, well, at least I had a break from my course mates. I was too sick to go to college yesterday and I don't feel so great today so I haven't been in either, and now I'm scared that my teachers are gonna yell. :(
