I'm not sure where I an supposed to put this post. But I figured it's somewhat about my dad so, this would be an okay place. Sorry if i'm wrong.

So today my parents were gone and my boyfriend and I where hanging out here before he went to school ( I'm not going today because I just got my wisdom teeth pulled last night so this is my recuperation day)

so I was laying on the couch watching TV, half asleep. and he walks out of the computer room and says "come with me, I want to show you something that is disturbing"

so I follow him into the room complaining about not wanting to watch anything disturbing when my mouth hurts. and what he shows me is porn. But not just any pron, for example one was "14 year old boy trying to fuck his mother"

Now my boyfriend didn't download it, because when he watches porn its internet porn, same with me, the odd time i the risk and watch porn I use internet because its easy to hide. and I share the computer with my dad.

So that leaves my dad. he's the only one left. My mom doesn't know how to work the computer. so.. yeah.

is there a way porn could just show up or is my dad watching child porn??

What do I do?

Thanks

It could be accident, but most likely not.

He wouldn't show you it if it was him.

Or maybe that's what he want you to think.

My boyfriend showed it to me. and it's not from him. so yeah...

I donno. Its not really something I can ask my dad

Delete it. If new child porn arises, you have a problem.

some times things are mis labeled on purpose by the person who uploads it and maybe it was thought to be a good one.

u just bring it up gradualy, like save something u want him to see right next to it

then tell him to look at it and hell se it and then u ask him about it

It could be that your computer is utterly hacked and some hacker stuck his child porn collection on your computer. Then it's entirely possible that your computer is serving a child porn website. This could mean trouble for your family if the cops bust down your door. You could tell the court you got hacked, but that's still a lot of trouble and risk you don't want to go through.

If your dad downloaded it, he's obviously not doing a good job of covering his tracks since you found the videos. If he's downloading child porn off the regular internet and saving it in some regular folder, there's a high probability that he will be caught if his name isn't on some list already.

So I think it's a good idea to communicate with your dad about this. Write him a note or something. Tell him the things I just said, and suggest that he delete the porn. What ever you do, don't take your computer to a computer repair place. They will report you.

If he decides to get rid of the porn, the secure process for deleting files isn't simply dragging them to the recycling bin and emptying it.  They can still be easily recovered after that. To really delete those files, you will have to back up all your files (not the porn of course), overwrite your entire hard disk several times with random data, reinstall your operating system, then put your files back. This will defeat any computer forensics analysis tools available to authorities. A good program to overwrite your hard disk is dban. You can PM me for more details about that.

This has happened to me too.
Think very carefully about what you do because my dad is spending the next 7 months in prison because i told somebody about it.
