i currently own a 1992 buick lesabre. this car is great, it runs perfect, no problems, only 80,000 miles, automatic eveything but i just started college and i commute about 15 minutes every day to get there. i get a whopping 16 mpg with my current car and i need a car that gets better gas mileage but is still not expensive. it does not have to be new, i would prefer used actually. nothing ridiculously old or ugly of course. i just need some suggestions of cars that i could get, my budget is about 10,000 so any help is appreciated

WTF is a honda eclipse. For 10k you can get alot of good used cars just look on craiglist or w/e and find the best one.

the perfect car for you would be a Volkswagen Golf 3 or 4. they are the most solid types of volkswagens out there. For your budget, you can get a great deal. i can find a car for you but in order to do that i need your postal code so i can find something near wherever it is you live.

Used Civic. You could probably grab something rather new for 10k.

Why, a Ford Tempo is a cheap car with decent gas mileage.
