My mac is no more than 2 months old, and its getting so slow and so many things are wrong with it now. for example, all morning my safari would just refuse to open, so then I call techincal support, and the SECOND the operator answers, safari pops up. idk what the hell is wrong with this thing. it's so ridiculous. im assuming in the memory, and I'd love to know how to free up some memory anyway. so how do you do it? thanks so much in advance.

firefox > safari
that's great, but no. downloading firefox would mean more space taken up.

Maybe it's just your connection, not your computer necessarily.

Mac makes me emo, my Dad caved in from pressure at work and got a pretty expensive one, and it sucks donkey. As for your specific problem, it can be plenty of things: 1. It's a Mac, it's lame. 2. Are you in a dusty environment? That can slow it down, blow it out with a shop vac, if you can even open those toys that is. 3. Virii, though they aren't common on Macs, they aren't impossible to get as some would have you think. 4. Excessive background applications. They aren't as common either on Macs, but do you have a whole ton of programs starting when you start the PC? Turn some off in settings (no idea how on Mac actually)

uh... there are viruses htey are just uncommon. but it is possible to get one. the problem you are having happened to me, and it turned out that it was my hard drive was failing. so if you go to a genius bar (its under warrenty, so its free) they will fix it for you. but back everything up first, even if you are going there to do something small... because they accidently completely deleted everything on my computer in an attempt to save it, and i had no backups. i'd say genius bar.

Here are some simple steps to help it 1.Try Putting An Axe Though it 2.Throw it at a wall 3.Try putting more memory on it 4.No one make Virus for Mac because its a piece of shit (no who would put a virus in a piece of shit) 5.Try watching this movie http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=iEAGmBRC1dc
