As for your specific problem, it can be plenty of things: 1. It's a Mac, it's lame. 2. Are you in a dusty environment? That can slow it down, blow it out with a shop vac, if you can even open those toys that is. 3. Virii, though they aren't common on Macs, they aren't impossible to get as some would have you think. 4. Excessive background applications. They aren't as common either on Macs, but do you have a whole ton of programs starting when you start the PC?
