And I don't know what to do. I mean, I love sex, I love money, and I'm not shy. I'm certainly not concerned about friends finding out about it, because they'd never look there. As for travel and such, it's all covered, with a potential gain of $600 - $3000 per shoot. So we're talking good money. But I'm not sure about how this might affect my future. Do gay porn artists go on to do other things? Can they? How can this realistically affect me? I'm just not sure if I should or shouldn't. There are a lot of good pros, but the cons are vague in severity, making this decision a difficult one to make. Also, there's a guy who I'm interested in that I'm not sure how it would work, although I get the idea he might not be completely opposed... A full STD test is required, and they are regularily done. Although you'd still need to wear protection to be ultra safe. That's what I was thinking... And to be fair, I'd want to work as my own boss, so I'm not sure if there'd be a huge issue there. I guess my biggest reservation would be this guy. Talking to him and explaining to him this is a good oppurtunity for you could seal the deal. As far as doing porn in general goes, only you can decide if you want to do it. It could impact your future, yes. But given your desired career, I doubt anyone will care if their chef did porn at one point. You know? So I can't see this impacting future employment opportunities. There aren't really any careers for porn stars based on their history. Like if you want to get famous off of it, don't bother. I can count on one hand how many porn stars have become generally well known off of their career. You'd most likely gain fans and gain money, but not have too many people realize that you were in porn. Gay porn has an even smaller market than straight porn, so that's good if you're hoping most people won't notice in the future. You'd still get to go on and do whatever you want. I can't see any real negatives, honestly. I know your views of sex and this doesn't clash at all. God, I'm being wordy today. Sorry. I know this potential relationship means a lot to you. And he could end up being fine with dating someone who does porn. It would depend on how he sees sex, more than likely. Can you call the scout and ask for time to think it over? Then that gives you a bit of time to talk to the guy and see how he feels about porn. I would mention it in general and see how he feels about porn stars. Most people are either fine with it or disgusted and I bet he'll reveal it in a conversation. Or this may rush things and mean you have to tell him about your feelings for him so you can make this decision about your life. Honestly, you won't get many chances like the one offered to you. So you are in a tight spot and have to know if there's a chance of him being interested in you.  And if he would ever date someone involved in the porn industry. Sorry I couldn't be more specific. But a lot depends on the guy's reaction. And even then, if you mind the chance of being noticed as a porn actor by coworkers or maybe even employers. It's all up to you to decide if it's worth the risk.
