There's this AMAZING girl in my year who I absolutely love. For almost a year now I've been totally into her, and although being straight has seem to possess "lesbian tendencies".
Well, she obviously knew I was into her, and I thought she was somewhat into me.
For months I was chasing her while she was playing hard to get. Leading me on, then pushing me away.
She even told me that she loves to lead people on even if she had no intention of being with them. It never had clicked that she was actually leading ME on.
Well, after months of trying to get over her, I did - to some degree. (Meaning I still desperately want her and would jump at the chance if I had it)
Now I've broken off all connections with her - no more texts, no more walking with her to class, not even talking to her anymore.
Well...miss "Playing hard to get" doesn't like this. In the past few days especially I've been noticing her trying really hard to get my attention. Looking at me when I'm not looking at her (and strangely enough, not looking away when I look back at her), being extra touchy when we do talk, messaging ME (rather than me messaging her...but I don't reply just as she did   ) and actually putting effort into being my friend.
I don't think she will ever want to date, but I'm sure liking watching her suffer for my attention.
She deserves it...bitch. (but I love her)

Yeah, it sure sounds like you're over her!

Well, to be fair, I did say TO SOME DEGREE...
I've gone from being desperately googly eyed over her to a distant cold hearted bitch. I think that is a somewhat improvement!

It sounds like she likes dangling herself in front of you. She likes the attention. Once you pull away she comes back at you because she knows you want her and you want her bad.

Well, for your sake, I hope you have the sense to stay away from any involvement with her. It doesn't sound to me like you will be anything more than a little fling to her, if you even get that far.

I like you. You're smart.
It's like you know her already lol.
And as much as I really do love her, the fact that I can resist all her flirtings proves that I really can get over her. I don't think I would ever go for her now. I just have to keep telling myself that. But I really have to stop enjoying watching her struggle so much! It's sick!!

You sound pretty smart yourself. Now I just hope you can practice what you preach. It just doesn't sound like there's anything but heartache down that path. I agree that you might want to get past the enjoying her squirm part. Living your life should have nothing to do with worrying about her. Be mature, let it go and walk away. Good luck.
