This is the first time I've seen someone use the computer reader (the voice that you can turn on, which reads everything you do/see on your computer) The blind lady had it set to an incredibly fast pace. It was too fast for me to understand, even if I was visually reading the words at the same time. Not to be insensitive, but it reminds me of learning an instrument - amazing for the outsider, intuitive for the person. Do you know if it takes a lot of practice to develop that comprehension? Do you know anything else that the disabled use that requires practice? -- Posted by Erin15 at 5:03 pm on Sep. 26, 2008 I go skiing, and use crutches that have skis on the bottom of them.. that requires some practice, unless you want to end up on your arse lol. Hmm but I dunno.
