Not the best, not the worst, it serves it's intended purpose.

It looks fine to me, a car is a car, as long as it gets you from point "A" to point "B"

-- Posted by Megzz at 10:37 am on Sep. 28, 2008

Exactly. And with gas prices, its nice having a small car instead of a truck. To fill up my old truck from empty I paid $107. To fill this car up, I spent roughly $40. Plus it goes twice as long without needing to be filled up. Another upshot of this old car is its a fully loaded car with power windows, door locks, cruise control, heat and A/C, and a decent stereo. None of which my old truck had. Fully independent suspension is nice too.

It's quite old, how much was it? like 700 bucks?

Anyhow, I agree, as long as it takes you from point A to point B, the rest is not important.

it appears to be a car... does it drive?

Better. Free, and only 83,000 miles. Its an '89 by the way. Almost two decades old.

Indeed it does. Very reliable, comfortable, and surprisingly nimble actually. Something (considering age and power numbers) I didn't expect. Handled Nikiski's hills effortlessly.

Cool beans. But be careful, with those tires, you may not want to drive it in the middle of an upcoming snowy day...

I have a set of barely-used studded winter tires. Can't put them on until October 15th though.

I was hoping your plates had FTL instead of FLT... so I could insert some rude comment about it being appropriate for your car... That worthless point aside, the fact a car has lasted that long in the north country is quite the feat.
