i have a denon cd auto changer dcm-290, but i think its broken. it wont play and theres a screen that says the cd number and track. when i hit play it just sort of like fast forwards through everything. like it makes a nise like its about to play and then it goes through the tracks about five seconds at a time, but doesnt play them. it just makes the noise so you know the CD is spinning... anybody know whats wrong and how to fix it?

Clean the cd, and clean the lense, that might be the problem. Dust on the lense. If its a scratch on the lense though, you'll need to have it replaced.
