I'm 17 and I've been taking birth control for a month. I'm on it for regulation benefits. I haven't gotten my shorter, lighter periods. Instead, I've gotten some brown bleeding all through the month. It'll stop for a few days and start again. I'm just wondering what it could be.   Should I talk to a doctor or should I wait for the birth control to set in longer than a month? When I started on Birth Controle for the first time i had my period, my regulare period for a month streight. Not fun. It's normal, periods go all kinds of wacky with birth control and the shot and shit. Just give it a while, it will get normal and the problem should go away.
