I've already done this before, but how do I stop it from making duplicates? It's in the process of converting .WMA to the .AAC, but most of these songs are already in my iTunes library...
-- Posted by nikki at 2:29 pm on Sep. 29, 2008 You just need to make sure that you don't upload stuff that's already in there. It is a real pain, but you need to go through and select the folders that aren't in your iTunes already and upload them one at a time. Or, you can go and upload all your music, but in your iTunes preferences, make sure you don't upload your iTunes music folder. However, if that music is also in another folder, copies will still be made.

And then I'll have to do the show duplicates thing and delete the copies?

I hit control and click all the ones I want gone. Then delete.
