I need to know why it failed? I've searched google. It's for a University report, so I need viable webpages to back it up.

Do you even know what the great leap forward is?

-_- The Great Leap Foward (1958-1959) was an initiative taken by Mao Zedong to positively influence China's economy and industry to rival that of the United States of America within 15 years.

Again, do you know exactly what it entailed?

Yes. I do.

So what all did it entail?

I don't need to justify myself to you.

Moron.

There is one part of the Great Leap Forward that is generally considered a failure, and I'm guessing that one aspect of it is why someone would think that the entire project was a failure.  Though I'm not too sure that even the part that 'failed' really failed in the long run.
