Just wondering, they would have done an HIV test, to rule that out, correct? Because the hypothyroid medication isn't working for my symptoms, so i'm thinking that it isn't the condition that I have. (low t4 count?) My step mum has HIV and has a low t4 count, I think Aids is just where it is so low that you're going to die soon. They can tell if you have HIV 3 months after becoming infected. I really wouldn't worry. But if it's still worrying you just talk to your doctor and I'm sure they will be able to reassure you.
