Yesterday, I moved around my internet connection, so that the router is now downstairs, and my modem is still upstairs. There isn't much issue with this, because it was only to get another cable long enough to reach our Xbox 360, and computer. And this is where the issue has been. Our internet now acts up, a lot, allowing me to go on the internet, but not on msn or xbl. On the modem, it shows all 5 lights, solid, rather then the first three solid, and the last two dancing around. How can I fix this, so I can use xbl, msn, and the internet..? Trust me, we've have it like this forever, same connection setup, it has something to do with the amount of internet being used. -- Posted by matto at 7:27 pm on Oct. 4, 2008 Is the router wireless?  Have you checked to see that no one is "sharing" your connection?  Does it have an encryption key?  (consider getting one unless you mean for it to be public) If the above is not a possibility... does the computer have internet access while the xbox is powered off and ethernet/usb/whatever-you-use-to-connect-to-the-internet unplugged?  Can it ping google or anything otherwise?
